Alex McEwen grew up in the rolling hills of Central Texas. He attended Dallas Baptist University and Arizona State University. He first felt a call to ministry in 2018 and went to pursue parachurch ministry in New Braunfels, TX. There he met his now wife and got married in 2020. He served as a youth minister in another denomination for several years, before coming to a historically reformed and presbyterian hermeneutic and worldview. Alex and his wife have been with NSP since the spring of 2022, and Alex has been on staff since May of 2024. Whether at a Texas Rangers game, or at home sitting on the couch, Alex can almost always be found with a book in his hand. He has a fondness for everything Dallas, and is committed to ministry in and for the city.
