A Study of Revelation

Wednesdays 10:00am-12:00pm

Last year we studied the beginning of God’s story of scripture in Genesis. This year, we will focus on the end as we dive deep into the book of Revelation using Nancy Guthrie’s newly released study, Blessed: Experiencing the Promise of the Book of Revelation. The study will meet weekly at the Browns' (9833 Broken Bow Dallas, TX 75238). We will kickoff with a brunch on September 7th and break for the holidays on November 16th. If you would like to jump in, please email Jan James to let her know. Childcare is available.

**Those planning to attend are encouraged to start listening to Guthrie's podcast entitled Blessed: Conversations on the Book of Revelation with Nancy Guthrie, which can be found on whatever podcast app you use. In this podcast, Guthrie converses with various Bible scholars, providing a great foundation for understanding Revelation. You'll want to check it out!

Standing Alone: Scenes from Elijah and Elisha

Wednesdays at 7:00pm

Join us on Wednesday evenings at 7:00 pm as we tune into a lecture given by Paige Benton Brown followed by a time of discussion and prayer. The study will meet weekly at the Honeycutts’ home (11606 Sasanqua Ln. Dallas, TX 75218) from September 7th through November 2nd. Email Jan James if you would like to jump in at any point.

Life in community: Small groups

If you are looking to intentionally walk alongside of and glean from the wisdom and experiences of women in differing seasons of life, our women's small groups are a great place to find a deeper sense of support and connection. Each group is made up of 4-5 women in various seasons of life for the purpose of mutual encouragement and edification through intentional conversation and prayer. In these groups, you will explore with one another who God has made you to be and how he has been and continues to be at work through your story, gifts and desires. You will also have the opportunity to seek out support, counsel and prayer around your current life circumstances.

Groups are formed in August, but if you are interested in joining throughout the year, contact the Women's Leadership Team for more information!

Serving one another

Are you interested in serving alongside other women who share in your areas of giftedness and ministry desires? Do you seek to serve but also yearn for further training and equipping in specific areas of interest? The WLT is heading up four different committees that will seek to intentionally love and serve our women and church body well, pursuing growth and training with one another in the process. If you are interested in learning more, please fill out this form and a member of the WLT will reach out to you with more information!
