Brian is thankful to have always called Texas his home: born in San Antonio, grew up in Odessa, and college in Dallas and Bryan/College Station. He earned a BA at Dallas Baptist University, and a PhD in American History from Texas A&M University. He works full-time at Southern Methodist University as a historian and professor. Brian and his wife Janelle have three children (Jonathan, Corin, and Leeann), and the whole family have been members at NSP since they moved to Dallas in 2012. Brian’s lifelong love of music has led to opportunities to help lead congregational music for thirty years, and he is grateful for the opportunity to serve NSP in this way.
