Dr. R. Elliott Greene is the Principal of Tyrannus Hall which seeks to provide seminary level training for minority pastors as they labor in their communities. Often these men are unable to attend seminary because it would draw them away from their families, their congregations, and in many cases other jobs. Yet they desire growth in their calling and skills. The traditional model of seminary training will not accomodate their life situation, and so Tyrannus Hall seeks to bring to them scholarly theological training which will strengthen their pastoral skills. Dr. Greene and his wife Ophelia are members of New St. Peter's where he also serves as an Assistant Pastor. In addition to his work with Tyrannus Hall and NSP, Dr. Greene also serves as Assistant Professor of Biblical Languages at Redeemer Theological Seminary in Dallas.
